SERIES 2

Honing the fresh, recognisable aesthetic established with their debut in 2018, Series 2 condenses the essence of PARC into a capsule collection that is simultaneously varied and cohesive. Premiering exclusively through the BFC’s new ‘Digital LFW’ platform as well as PARC’s new website and digital channels, SERIES 2 is a timely, optimistic range of collaborative garments which convey a cheerful sense of hope and playfulness.

Original prints created by PARC regular textile designer James Millar (former design director of Liberty London) have been applied to PARC’s trademark hybrid separates; sheer oversized shirts, raw-edged cap-sleeved hoodies with gaping armholes and drapey t-shirts. Coming soon to SERIES 2 is a collection of jewellery, in the form of engine turned motifs bordered in bright enamels, executed into ring, earring and identity bracelet form.

Presenting as a continually evolving experimental platform rather than a traditional brand, PARC is as much about the experience and the creative process as it is about the final product.

Collage-á-trois (special project)

During the lockdown, PARC created a foundational ‘image pack’ of garment shapes and prints from SERIES 2 and distributed to three selected artisans and PARC collaborators, as part of a special project titled ‘Collage-à-trois’.

Creative director Patrick Waugh, visual artist Damien Blottière and embroidery collagist Scott Ramsay Kyle took the predominantly floral images and blew them up to abstraction, cut-and-pasted them into kaleidoscopic jigsaws of visual texture or layered them into optically-confusing 3D repeat patterns. The artworks will be exhibited on PARC’s Instagram and parclondon.com at the launch of ‘Digital LFW’.
